Killara homes often need air conditioning that feels quiet in more than one sense. Quiet to run. Quiet on the wall. Quiet in the way it sits with older rooms, garden views, formal spaces and established street presentation.
This is not the same problem as a compact apartment suburb or a newer estate. Killara has railway history, landscaped station gardens, long-established homes, heritage-listed properties, leafy streets, schools, tennis and golf settings, and houses where the visual feel of a room can matter as much as its temperature.
The better comfort plan is usually the one that cools the home without making the system feel too present.
Garden-facing rooms
A room facing a garden can be one of the most important spaces in a Killara home. It may be a sitting room, dining area, family room or study with outlook, shade, doors to the garden, or furniture placed around the view.
